Private Pilot & Eagle Wing Club Member Bill Breen - Valparaiso
After about a year of studies I earned my Private Pilot Certificate, ASEL on September 24, 2006. It wasn’t “all work and no play”. I had a lot of fun doing it, but it was also a lot of work! I just wanted to say Thank You, to you and the entire staff at Eagle Aircraft, for helping me to accomplish my life goal of learning to fly!
I especially want to recognize Lisa Lynch and Louie Uridel for the efforts that they put into my training. I presented them with schedule changes, family priorities, and learning difficulties. They always presented an upbeat attitude and gave me encouragement when I didn’t think I would be able to do it. Lisa and Louie, and the entire staff of Eagle Aircraft are “World Class”.
I have, and will continue, to recommend Eagle Aircraft for anybody who has an interest in learning to fly. The one-on-one training, with the same instructor who is willing to change his schedule to match yours; being able to study a topic in the comfort of your own home and then go out the next day with your instructor to practice it; and an entire staff that truly want you to succeed; really made the difference for me.
It took a lot of time, and money, and I certainly wasn’t the best student, but it was worth every bit of it. I feel so strongly about Eagle Aircraft and the staff that I joined Eagle Wings Flying Club as I want to just enjoy flying for a while as I contemplate an Instrument Rating!

Professional Pilot Student Aaron Adrian - Michigan City
"John,
Happy Holidays! It seems that 2005 just flew by rather quickly. Now that the Commercial Pilot written exam is under my belt, I look forward to training in preparing for the Check Ride. My biggest challenge thus far has been trying to effectively manage my time in order to achieve my aviation goals. Full-Time college on line, working for Continental at MDW, and commuting really makes it tough but I^m confident it will be worth it in the end. The job at MDW has really provided me with great networking opportunities already and has been a great experience thus far. I am proud to be a flight student at Eagle Aircraft and look forward to achieving additional pilot certificates and ratings through the professional instruction of Eagle Aircraft. Thanks for being a great Flight School and giving people like me the opportunity to achieve an aviation dream. See you and the rest of the great Eagle Aircraft Staff soon."
*Aaron has since earned his Commercial Rating and is building flight time while applying for pilot positions.

"To know how to fly has been a dream of mine for years. When I talked to people about it, Eagle Aircraft was mentioned over and over. I gave Eagle a call and am so glad I did!
Learning to fly has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have not only learned to fly with Eagle, but gotten my Instrument rating, as well. Everyone at Eagle is friendly, experienced and dedicated to producing competent and knowledgable pilots.
Come fly with Eagle!"

Private Pilot/IFR/Commercial Rated Brad Eakins - South Bend
"When I began looking for a flight school, I started looking at the ones near South Bend, IN but during my research, I came across Eagle Aircraft.
What first impressed me was that it was a Cessna Pilot Center, which in itself speaks volumes, but after touring the school, meeting the staff, talking to other students and patrons, seeing first hand the quality of the planes and the exceptional Cessna curriculum, it became a no-brainer as to which flight school I would be attending.
The hour drive each way is well worth it when considering the training I receive."
(Brad Earned his Commercial Certificate with Eagle on 1-9-2007. Congratulations)

Private Pilot3 Dr. Jerry Galloway
Early this year I began my training in pusuit of a private pilot^s license. Nervous but excited, apprehensive but determined, I knew it would be a significant challenge as I walked in the front door of Eagle Aircraft and announced my intentions. I met Lisa and other representatives at the front desk. They could not have been more helpful and supportive from that intrepid beginning through every aspect of the experience since.
I am a professor of education, then at Indiana University Northwest - now at Georgia Southern University. I have been a teacher for almost 30 years. Indeed, I teach teachers to teach. Education, how people learn and how knowledge is constructed, is the basis of my career.
I was assigned to an available instructor - a CFI named Bob Allen. Having no experience in flight short of a video game with both feet firmly on the ground, I had in mind all sorts of illusions of the classic archetypal pilot somewhere between Jimmy Stewart and Sky King. Regardless of the fantasy, I was not only not disappointed, I indeed found in Mr. Allen not only the experience, wisdom and knowledge of a vetern flyer, but also the understanding, insight and intuition of a skilled teacher. He instilled a confidence that empowered me to progress. He inspired enthusiam that made me want to do better. He set a standard that was achievable but which demanded performance and quality execution. He went above and beyond any proprietary concerns and always devoted an extra measure of effot and concern for my progress. Even though we have developed a close friendship and personal bond, perhaps unique, it is even more important that I can say without hesitation that Bob has my highest respect as my teacher.
While I believe that an instructor can make or break any learning experience, I had direct experiences with virtually everyone at Eagle. Certainly, every Eagle CFI contributed something to my learning. The love of flying shared by everyone was constantly in the air. As I studied on this or that I would frequently turn to whoever was around me at the time to ask questions. My questions would inevitably involve extended discussion and literally thinking out loud. Regardless of my confusion or how trival the concern might have been, everyone always treated the question with interest and respect and took the time to help me understand. Everyone, instructors and staff, always extended the highest concern for courtesy and assistance. This was not overlooked or unappreciated by me.
I was always impressed with how CFI^s would share ideas and discuss technical elements of flight and issues of instruction. Never a hint of ego or bravado, I was most impressed with the concern for safety, regulation and protocol. There is no shortcut taken at Eagle Aircraft. No compromise of standards. And, no disregard for how the habits, assumption and mindset of human nature could become the greatest risk of all.
I don^t know if I will take my training to higher levels of certification or if my goal of VFR single engine flight will satisfy me. But I do know that the expert training I received at Eagle Aircraft has allowed me to fly with my wife and family and enjoy the third dimension previously beyond my reach.
